Beta version

Your bank tells you.
You just confirm.

aBolsillo reads your bank's notification and builds the movement: how much you spent, whether it was a purchase or a transfer, and which of your cards it went on. All that's left for you is to check it and save it.

Two aBolsillo screens: the welcome screen and the month summary with current balance, income, expenses and the spending-by-category doughnut
Scroll

Personal finance without writing down every expense by hand.

Set up your accounts once, let the automatic detection do the daily work, and see where your money goes — month by month and category by category.

Automatic

When your bank notifies you of a purchase, aBolsillo picks out the amount, the kind of movement and the account it belongs to. The suggestion is waiting for you, ready to log.

Complete

Cash, savings, checking, cards, investments, loans and points accounts. Each with its current and projected balance, and with its rate if you hold it in another currency.

Shared

Share an account with your partner or your family and decide whether they can only view it or log in it too. Your categories and your reminders stay yours alone.

Secure

A PIN covers the screens where your money shows, and if you prefer you get in with your fingerprint, your face or your phone's pattern. You can also require two-step verification on entry.

31 Banks and programmes recognised
7 Account types, from cash to miles

How does it work?

  1. Sign in with Google

No new passwords to create. Your session is ready in seconds, and your profile follows you if you change phones.

  2. Add your accounts

Add your cash, your bank accounts and your cards. On credit cards you set the statement and payment days, and the reminders take care of themselves.

  3. Turn on detection

Grant Android's notification access. From then on, every alert from your bank becomes a suggested movement.

  4. Confirm, and that's it

Look over the pending suggestions and log them with one tap. Whatever the app doesn't catch you add by hand in seconds.

Everything you need to keep track of your money.

Built around how banks work in Colombia: management fees, statement dates, and points and miles programmes. And if you keep accounts in another currency, those too.

Automatic detection

aBolsillo listens to your bank's notifications and builds the movement. If one gets past it, share the message from your messaging app and it opens the form with the amount and the account already filled in. With your own rules you auto-complete category, account and tags from keywords.

Reminders that help

Alerts for your pending movements and for your card payments, at the time you pick. If several fall on the same day, one summary notification arrives instead of many.

Recurring movements

Rent, subscriptions, salary. You define the rule once and every period the app creates the pending movement, with its payment deadline.

Shared accounts

Invite your partner or your family by email and decide whether they can only view or also log movements. The last four digits of a card are never shared.

Charts that explain

A doughnut that breaks down by subcategory, and month-by-month progress over 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. In percentage mode you see what is taking a bigger slice.

Works offline

Open the app and log movements even with no signal. Everything is kept on your phone and syncs by itself when the connection comes back.

Your money, under lock

A PIN covers the screens with balances, and if you prefer you get in with the fingerprint, face or pattern you already use on your phone. You can require two-step verification on entry, and what is kept on the phone is encrypted.

Budgets that warn you in time

Set a cap per category and the app tells you how much is left and how much you can spend per day until the end of the month, against how much of it has gone. Not a traffic light at the end: knowing on the 12th whether you are on track.

Tags and quick movements

Mark an expense outside its category — a trip, a gift — with tags. And whatever you log the same way every time, save it as a quick movement, ready with one tap.

Points and miles that log themselves

You set up once the rate your card earns at and which points account they go to. Each expense creates its points income, linked to the movement that earned it, and it respects when your bank pays: right away, a few days later, or a fixed day of the month.

Made to fit you

Pick your language — Spanish or English — make the text bigger, and decide which cards you see on Home and in what order. If something isn't clear, the help inside the app answers the common questions.

Free.
Nothing locked away.

aBolsillo charges no subscription, shows no ads, and keeps no feature back for a paid version: everything you see here you use from day one. The free plan does have usage caps —10 accounts, 10 new movements a day— that are more than enough for normal use. And if you ever drop from premium back to free, nothing of yours is deleted: you just stop being able to create more.

Price still to be set

The same features as the free plan, with the usage caps raised to 100. It is not on sale yet: we are still settling the price and the date.

Coming soon

Start seeing where your money goes.

aBolsillo is an Android app, and you can also get in from the browser. Automatic detection needs the phone: it is Android that hands over the bank's notifications. You sign in with your Google account and in a couple of minutes your accounts are ready.

Get it on Google Play

We are about to publish the beta. This button goes live as soon as it is on the Play Store. While the beta lasts, don't make aBolsillo your only record: it can fail, and your information might not be recoverable.
